A meaningful poem

Like starlight from a thousand miles away,
we can only gaze at each other.
Trust that love does not lie,
and that it is only treasured separately.

The wish that I am waiting for,
always ends in disappointment,
like a brilliant meteor falling to its end.

How will the power from your love,
fly towards...
an unreachable place so far away.
The distant starlight can only be admired.

Will you do the same,
and keep love inside your heart?

Even if the star-filler sky,
grants me a thousand wishes.
I only want to have you,
always be by my side...
